They all turned to Lemiel, who suddenly walked out of the shadows and stepped into view with a smile.
"You paint such a bad picture of me, Kilmartin. I suppose I am not that bad," he said, addressing the vampire.
His eyes fell on Sienna before moving to Dylan. He stood in the middle of the three. Sienna quietly exhaled, relieved that Lemiel had arrived.
The vampire might be insane and dangerous, but she was sure he wouldn't let this matter escalate. However, she was instantly worried about him leaving their son alone at the soiree.
"Enlighten me. What has my little maid done?"
"Duke Lemiel," Dylan called, drawing Lemiel's attention. "The lady claimed that Mr. Kilmartin tried to drink from her, and he was offended that she tried to defend herself."
