Sienna just finished helping Davi dress up for dinner when Davi's room opened, and Lemiel leaned on the door frame.

His lips twitched. "I have read the witch's book. I don't think it will be useful to me, so I tried to throw it into the fireplace, but it won't burn. My power was also of no use. What witch spell is cast on the book?"
She thought about it for a moment.
"I am not sure. Perhaps a powerful defensive spell to ensure that the book will endure time. There are different ways to break defensive spells on things. If you cannot ruin it, just keep it, then. After all, this castle looks safe from thieves."
"Mm," he nodded with a contemplative look. "Have you thought about the reward yet?"
