While one hand supported her waist, his other hand caressed the ends of her hair before it fell to her elbow. Her arms down to her wrists were fully clothed but the touch still brought heat to Sienna's cheeks.
And when his hand moved to her hip, she almost jumped. Her lips fell a tiny inch apart, her worried eyes meeting the vampire's wicked gaze.
"What are you-"
Before she could finish her sentence, she realized that his move meant something else when she felt his hand slide into her skirt's pocket. Lemiel didn't break their eye contact until he pulled his hand out, holding the piece of paper he had taken from her pocket.
"The scent of the paper is too strong. It doesn't mix with your sweet scent."
He brought the paper to her eye level and unfolded it with one hand. Sienna's eyes widened, and she was about to grab the paper, but the duke immediately moved his hand away.
