Chapter 118 - Chapter 118: Training the Earth element

Cao Guang saw more than a hundred Rock Monsters and and ten Rock Generals at different stages of the Warrior level outside the passageway. Only the Rock Generals were not too keen on entering the passageway themselves, they simply kept sending more minions towards Cao Guang.

Cao Guang started to use more basic spells with his Fire Element as he knew that it would recover spiritual energy faster. Even after the Rock Monsters were eliminated the Rock Generals looked like they were willing to retreat than take a step forward, Cao Guang didn't wish for them to bring a Commander so he used a trick he could.

He went to edge of the passageway as close to Rock Generals as possible and activated the special effect of Flowing Mud, almost holding them in place knowing that it wouldn't be enough he threw in a Earth Wave Shift and Space Rhythm into it.

If it was before Cao Guang would turn to his possession state when fighting so many Warriors, but he was here to train himself.

Since the Rock Generals were being held in place outside the passageway, he prepared a Star Constellation.

The weird cries of the Rock Generals intensified as they felt the presence of Advanced spells.

Sky Flame Funeral Blazing Rain

The rain of fire balls simply decimated the field and left just some debris on the ground. Cao Guang's eyes were suddenly attracted to the crystal on the ground as he looked closer.

It was a Reciever Crystal

Cao Guang wasn't the first person to find Reciever Crystals like this, but the others thought that it was a rare loot dropped because one of the Rock Generals were holding it and not because one of them were in fact a Mud Morphing Monster.

Knowledge was power indeed, this small Crystal was worth over Fifty million. Let the souls he picked up on the way however, his happiness did not last as he felt the intense shaking of the ground and deduced the arrival of the Commander whose subordinates he just killed.

Cao Guang formed a plan and didn't intend to retreat at all, he wanted to see how far he could go against a Commander.

And as they say, if in trouble call your stronger pet.

Cao Guang prepared his defensive spells in case and prepared as good a trap as he could against the Commander and took a few steps back as a Thirty metre large Rock Commander appeared at a distance.

It's body was covered with protuding rocks that looked like hairs on a mammal. It's foot was flat and hip was slim as Cao Guang. The creature looked more like a Titan than a Rock Commander.

Cao Guang casted the spell he prepared as the Monster suddenly felt sluggish and could barely move.

Flowing Mud

Space Rhythm Time Stasis

Both of them only took him a moment to cast as one was a spell and the other a special effect of a Spirit seed. Cao Guang even had Fenrir and Iron Sand Golem summouned to help him to hold the Commander back.

If one were to look closely they would also find a little red doll hanging on the ceiling of the cave as light bulb.

Fenrir's lightning and the Golem's Sand Strike barely made a scratch on the Commander. But it had given Cao Guang enough time to Cast another Sky Flame Funeral, however he wasn't just practicing now.

He borrowed Calamity Fire from Flame Belle and that helped make his spell 7 times stronger. As for the secondary flame possessed by Flame Belle, apparently that needed possession state to be acquired.

Sky Flame Funeral Blazing Rain

An advanced spell multiplied 7 x in strength hit the Rock Commander as Fenrir and the Golem took a step back. It was closer to peak second tier Advanced spell than it was to first tier spell in strength.

While the Rock Commander was only a semi commander in strength.

It was half destroyed by the Sky Flame Funeral hitting it repeatedly. Yet Cao Guang was not going to stay there waiting for it die. He used the element most effective against Earth spells.

Thunderbolt Lightning Disaster

The bolt of lightning spread around the creature and overwhelmed the beast and attacked it's leg as Cao Guang wanted. At this point Cao Guang only needed to spam attacking spells to kill the creature.

But even a cornered Rabbit would bite.

The Rock Commander in all of its rage punched at Cao Guang breaking through the restrictions and control he applied.
