Cao Guang planned to set aside 2 billion yuan for reinvesting in to a few good deals he knew he could make. He paid Max about 45 million in fees. He had sold three Warrior level Souls and earned 55 million, he added another 45 and gave his friends to spend on their cultivation. He had his assistant buy him a Spirit grade soul seed for his fire element called Prairie Flames for 25 million.
He also spend 20 million for some Soul grade seed fragments for his daughter, leaving him with 865 million yuan to spend. As for reinvesting he had two plans.
One was Purple Demon Crests from Demon Lindens in Yantai. In the future a company would find a way to manufacture Defensive magic equipment out of these and their price would skyrocket.
Cao Guang had another option to invest that was the Galaxy Vein Buisness. Galaxy Vein could help Mages to break through to the Advanced level. They were priced about 90 million. After the rise of Sea levels that would triple.
But he had three reasons to reject this idea. The price markup on Demon Crests were ten times the original. Galaxy Veins would loose efficacy if he store them for that long. Galaxy Veins were also something that needed to be used to fulfill their value. Demon Crests on the other hand could be stored easily without losing its value or anything.
But Cao Guang had instructed his assistant to only buy a few Demon Crests a day. Currently the only use for Demon Crests were to crush them for their oil, that few Summoned beasts liked. An uncontrolled buying would increase their price too far too fast, Cao Guang did not want to loose his profits like that.
He was willing to wait Seven or Eight years to see the profit. As for the other investment, he had a short window and was doing everything to get an interview with Councilman Zhu Meng. However, he heard Zhu Meng had flown to the Andes on personal buisness from his assistant today, meaning he had lost out on his second investment.
Zhu Meng was offered a defunct company in Half Mountain Ridge City for pennies on the dollar by his friend. Zhu Meng would accept and about fifteen years later a Lightning Pentagon Mine would be found there increasing its valuation.
But it wasn't the Company he was interested in but the Lightning Pentagons and the tailings left over from its ores. Since he couldn't strike preemptively and obtain a share of the company, he could only let it go.
He could force a meeting and obtain the rights to deal with the tailings or destructive Lightning left over from purifying Lightning ores, but he doubted his Little Tora pendant could handle that sort of energy right now.
Then he decided to adjust his focus to obtain something that would make him money in short term and decided to focus on some Land acquisition, but these would still take him some time to explore and execute so he pushed them back.
Recently he also heard that there was a Japanese company that was researching alternative sources to make Light magic equipment, he had them earmarked for the future. He had also heard Mo Fan had gotten himself in trouble after trying to elope with Mu Zhuoyun's daughter.
He let nature take it's course with that one, he didn't want to interfere too much into Mo Fan's life, He wasn't even sure if the guy would reincarnate again. Hopefully he did, if he didn't, well he had plans for that as well.
He had established a small relationship with Mo Fan and his father Mo Jiaxing when he was in Bo City. He still maintained it and called twice a year. If Mo Fan didn't reincarnate, then he would loose his interest in magic and life.
However one could not protect themselves like that, so he would still get Mo Fan into magic highschool, hopefully the kid would make something out of it.
Technically this is also another long term investment.
Cao Guang then refocused himself and decided to buy some defensive artifacts, not those he could only use once but those he could use for a long time. They would cost him fortune but he was prepared.
He spent 100 million to obtain an artifact that could enhance the potency of his Space element defences, and few usual defensive artifacts, only they were meant for peak intermediate mages atleast. All in all it cost him 200 million, bringing his spending money to 665 million.
