Chloe's P. O. V
I don't know for how long I was running. After running for a while I lost consciousness leaving the control of my body to Serene. By the time I came back to my senses, it was midnight. I found myself lying under a tree near my old pack border.
"How did I reach here?" I asked in my mind.
'Of course, I brought us here,' Serene said with pride. I sighed in relief. Finally, I was free from that old hag.
"But why are we here? Shouldn't we go back to the pack where our mate was?" I asked.
'Our mate is here, didn't you hear that shaman wolf? She said our mate has come here. We should go back to our pack, " Serene said with determination.
I wasn't sure though. I was banished from this pack, so going back there was against my pride. However, I was the rightful Alpha of this pack so I cannot let my family and pack be unaware after knowing the danger lurking ahead for them.
