Chapter 16 – Lux
He was even more regal than a king as he entered the restaurant, his eyebrows raised in arrogance. He decided to have breakfast there since he had lost his appetite at home, thanks to his wife's 'mood swings,' which she considered "right" even when they were wrong. She even left despite their misunderstandings. In his mind, he wanted to make amends before going to work, but not anymore. He was always the one making the effort, even when he wasn't in the wrong side. Perhaps Diana had gotten used to being pampered. Just because Diana was smart and wealthy, she constantly felt like she had to compete with him. What could possibly be wrong with him?
"Oh!" a waitress screamed, and he watched as she dropped everything from her tray.
"Bullshit!" he cursed angrily and gave the woman a sharp look. "You're so stupid!"
She froze, and everyone seemed frightened by the intensity of his shout. "You won't receive your salary for a month!"
