" Congratulations Mr. Collins, for your good work, your skill set has been increased to fifteen percent and also fifteen inches has been added to your wings which now allows you to fly. Please note, flying doesn't take away any percentage from you, but it could reduce your strength." EA said while he was seen pulling a smirk out of his mind.
" Why the smirk?" Lucy asked.
" Nothing, just recalled a moment " he lied hastily, trying to hide his thoughts.
" Hmmm!!! That's my home." said Lucy, as she pointed to an old duplex, which was in a really quiet environment.
He wasn't really bothered about the house being in the woods though, trust me, Collins has seen more terrifying things than the woods.
He felt a really cold touch from the air, as he stepped into the house. The atmosphere became unnatural and colder than the outside all of a sudden.
" Your home is cold, why?" he asked in a dumbfound tone.
" Oh!!!, I left the air conditioner turned on after leaving the house, I guess it must have frozen up the entire building, can you help me turn it off by the wall in the living room?" she explained.
" I'm ok with the airrrr con-di-tioner." he said in a staccato tone, not knowing what it was, he just didn't want to embarrass himself.
" Aree you sure about that. " she asked
" Yes I am." He replied.
A moment of silence, murdered the atmosphere, until Lucy disfigured it.
" Alright then! Would you like some coffee."
" Yes!!!" he replied, pretending as though he has had one before, he normally saw the millis drink them.
" Okie dokie." she replied, getting up slowly from her seated position as she gradually took her steps to avoid stressing her twisted ankle. She hipped and hopped, until she wasn't seen.
" E.A, how long am I gonna be here." he asked, while speaking into his wristband.
" This is your hideout, you'll have to stick around until your first mission has been assigned to you." she responded
" But I can't just keep staying here, the house belongs to Lucy." he said
" Mr. Collins, find a way and you will see it." she said.
" Hmmm!." He sighed while caressing his chin, thinking of an excuse to give to Lucy.
He then looked at the beautiful house Lucy stayed in. " Beautiful on the inside, ugly on the outside." he said, while chuckling silently
The house was well decorated , a stuffed bear was used as a rug and it was placed at the center of the sitting room. Pictures of deers and some other animals were placed on the walls around the house. The decorations in the house showed that Lucy had something to do with hunting.
" Here's your coffee." Lucy said while gradually walking towards him. He then stood up from his seated position, attempting to help her out.
"So what brings you to wheel valley coast, and ooo forgive my manners, I didn't ask your name." she said while settling down.
" Well my name is Collins, I'm not actually from this coast, just came around and got separated from my crew. Cut the long story short, I found myself here." he replied.
" Little man got lost, lol, well wheel valley coast is an old developed area, it's just so hard to find your way around." She said,
" Yes I know, I once died here." he replied, not listening to what he had just vomited from his mouth.
" What!!" she exclaimed with her eyebrows squeezed downwards, with a slack jaw, as she felt a cold breeze rush down her spine.
"Oh! s-so sorry, I-I meant to say, I have been dying to come here, you know, I heard about how developed the place was, so I just said to my friends, why don't we come to wheel valley" he stammered while his heart beated really fast, trying to hide the truth from her knowing what will come of it.
" Ok!!! but I've been meaning to ask, urmmmm, why are you dressed like that? You look like those slaves in the movie The Legend of the Coast thieves." she asked, as though she knew.
At first he was confused, he didn't even know what exactly she was talking about. He knew nothing of a movie, all he did was just sit there, and gazed at Lucy as though he was searching something inside of her.
" She is talking about a play, the play you saw in the city, which you called a mirror with people stuck in it. It is actually called a movie, like what you slaves normally do in the theater to impress the millis, but this time, they are recorded with cameras and transformed into a movie, which is then acted on TV." E.A explained.
Well E.A was right, they normally acted plays for the millis, that was one of Collins's favorite duties though, because it was really tough and fun at the same time. I guess technology has changed even the name.
" Hello there." Lucy said, trying to bring him back to reality.
" Oh! sorry, emmmm, my friends and I foolishly thought the movie was today, so we dressed up to acknowledge our forefathers." he replied with courage, after being snapped out of my imagination.
" Ok, that's great, well I'm actually the one who wrote the story which was then turned into the movie. I gave more references to the coastal bandit then, I think they went by the name Jimmy and Mufasa, they stole food to help the coast, and they were never caught. They also helped us get free from inhumanity." Lucy said.
" That's not actually how the story went." Collins said, after being confused with everything she told him, forgetting that he was trying to hide his identity from her.
" How'd you know that? I've been in this forest for years, trying to research them, I even found Jimmy's old journal, buried in the ground." she replied.
" Well if you say so then." he replied, trying to end the conversation so that he won't blow his cover.
" I know so." she said confidently.
" So what did you find out about Mufasa." he asked, trying to see if she researched about him, so that he could hear the cool things she must have discovered.
" Well from my research, I think Mufasa was gay, he loved Jimmy so much that he wanted to go anywhere he went to, so he joined the bandit along side Jimmy, I see him as an incompetent fool, after he committed suicide in the coast execution pole." she replied, Collins threw a scowling look to Lucy, he became furious that you could almost see smoke shading out of head, his story was about pain, how can she research such nonsense about him.
" What the fuck!!! Who told you that." he asked in a calm tone, trying to hide his anger and dissatisfaction from her.
" Well I found a scroll with a written message from Mufasa, that's if the name was spelt correctly, it was a love letter, which said,
« Dear Jimmy, I really love you, I want to join the food gang, I promise to keep myself for the gang and also be there for you anytime." she read.
As soon as she was done reading, Collins remembered his request letter, but he actually said "I really love your work," not "I really love you."
"Oh Jess, look how my history was plotted." he soliloquizes, and immediately, EA begin to laugh annoyingly in his head.
" You're boiling, ok it seems like Mufasa is your favorite, but you gotta accept it, most people could be bitchy." she explained, trying to soften his mind but she didn't know that she was actually making it worse.
" Can we stop talking about movies and things that might not be true." he said, trying to end the discussion.
"Yeah yeah!!" she said in a cheeky manner.
