Chapter 1 - Life In The Woods

"With the sun setting behind the ancient oaks and the whispers of the forest as my only companions, I can't help but chuckle."

"You see, my father is a wise old wolf, and my mother, well, she is quite the hunter. Quite the pair to bring me into this world and show me the beauty of the world."

"They raised me in the heart of the woods, where the howls of the pack were my lullabies, and the rustling leaves were my playmates. I belong to the pack, although I'm slightly different, being a human, the pack as a whole embraced me.

"But that do not mean I am not crazy when it is requested. Sometimes, some wolves in the pack tend to go against my father and I teach them lessons. They mostly end up injuring me but they are always punished by my old wolf."

"So, you ask me what it's like living among the trees?"

"I can't imagine a better place to call home. I can climb trees with the ease of a squirrel. Only that cheeky monkey, Kong, can compete with me for the title of 'Forest's Best Climber.'"

"But you see, my tree-climbing antics serve a purpose. Those humans who venture too close to our sanctuary, I give them a fright they'll never forget. My tricks keep my family, the wolves, safe. That's my duty."

"There was one day, though, when a human's arrow found its mark, and I was hurt. It was my wolf family that cared for me. They nursed me back to health, showing me the power of their loyalty and love."

"I further learned the cruelty of creatures like me. What we call humans. In the very first place, they are the one who led me here."

"Twelve years, I've spent in these woods. Twelve years with my wolf family. I've learned their ways and listened to the language of the forest. The birds, the trees, even the brook, they all speak to me. I am not just the forest's child; I am its keeper, its protector."

"But why, elderly man? Why do you want me back to the world that thought they had pushed me to my demise?"

"No, elderly man. I am staying here!"

"What? What do you mean you can help me save my brother?"
