The scene opens up with a boy in a small town who is only but a small child around the age of 11 he has blue hair and wears glasses he is also wearing commoner clothing and a collar he is seen playing in a lake
"Hey Dorothy I'm back," said the boy as he is talking to the lake as he is talking to someone
And that someone is a small dolphin who is the boy's pet
"Sorry I can't always stay and play with you," said the boy as he then smiles
"AALTO! GET YOUR ASS IN HERE AND PREPARE THE FOOD WE'RE HUNGRY" as the man would say yelling across from a house
"Okay! Coming!" I'd wave goodbye to Dorothy then head back home and prep food
As Aalto would prepare food for his "family" the man, the wife, and the two daughters would sit down when it was done they would aalto would sit in a corner starving
"HERE" the man would throw a small piece of bread to Aalto
Aalto would see the small piece of bread then eat it scarfing it down after the family is done eating aalto would be taken to a dirty shed and get put in there and chained up to a wall by the man Aalto would then lay down on hay and go to sleep
Next day
The family and Aalto would be out shopping but aalto would be getting dragged by the chain on his collar by one of the daughters
"Come on doggie! Hurry up!" Said the daughter dragging Aalto
"Okay..." said Aalto as he would walk faster
As they walked Aalto would stop and check out a shop that had toys, etc
"Hm?" The daughter would notice Aalto and go to him
"Come on doggie you know you're not worthy of any toys only I am!" Said the daughter
Aalto would be staring at a dolphin toy because it reminded him of Dorothy
"Hm? You want that toy?" Said the daughter as she saw what Aalto was looking at
Aalto would then say "Yes, please...Alice..." Said Aalto
"Okay! If you promise to be a good boy I'll get it for you" said Alice
Aalto would again nod in agreement
"Good boy!" Said Alice as she petted Aalto on the head "Hey mom! Dad! I want that toy!" The daughter would then point to the dolphin toy when the man and the wife came over then they would go into the shop and go and get that toy
As the family continued shopping a man would run and pickpocket the man
"W-wait HEY...HEY!! THAT'S MY WALLET!!!" Said the man as he released Aalto "GO GET HIM!" Said the man
On instinct, aalto would chase after the robber, and then...after a few minutes had passed they would get to an alleyway and the robber would be at a dead end
"D-Damnit..." Said the robber as he would be panting and holding the wallet
Aalto would walk slowly to the robber
"Give that back...p-please..." Said Aalto
"Heh..." Said the robber as he scoffed and then touched the wall behind him sending tendrils made out of the wall meaning the robber used magic!
To Aalto's surprise, he tries to dodge the attack but gets pierced in the back and he spits out a chunk of blood and falls on the ground
"Sorry kid but I need this," said the robber as he would then run past Aalto and got away
Aalto would be lying down on the ground as good as dead
"Dang it...I couldn't get the wallet back..." said Aalto in his head
Then a man walks up to Aalto and carries him back to the man
"W-what oh...thanks..." Said the man as he picked up Aalto after the mysterious man gave him to him
The mysterious man would then walk away and the family would be confused at the man but mad at Aalto for not getting the wallet back
A few hours later they'd get back to the house and then Aalto would wake up and see the wife cleaning him up
"Oh? You're awake?" Said the wife
Aalto would then nod "Thanks Miss Cleo"
"No problem Aalto...I'm glad you're alive" said Cleo as she closed the med kit and put it back in the cabinet
"I'm sorry..." Said Aalto as he would then look down sadly
Cleo would smile then say "It's okay Aalto what matters is that you're alive...now my husband might think differently but I don't"
Aalto would smile then get up and go to the living room and play with the dolphin toy
As Aalto was playing with the dolphin toy one of the daughters would walk up to him
"Hey... what's that there? Can I play with it?" Said the daughter
"y-yes sure Charlotte..." Said Aalto as he gave her the toy
As Charlotte played with the toy she would start to rough it up a bit
"H-hey..." said Aalto as he was disturbed by how she was treating the toy
As Charlotte continued playing with the toy she had a maniacal smile on her face as she started to rough it up a bit more
as Aalto would see this it would start to trigger him as he saw flashes of the toy imagining it like "Dorothy like he did...
In a fit of rage, Aalto pushed Charlotte "LEAVE IT ALONE!!"
Charlotte would then start to cry even though the push was extremely weak
Aalto would then go back to normal "I- I'm sorry" said Aalto as he tried to comfort Charlotte
"NO LEAVE ME ALONE I'M TELLING DAD!!" Said Charlotte as she ran away from Aalto and went to the man's room
Aalto would then sit there and start to get PTSD from the amount of beating and abuse he would get from the man ever since he's been here then Aalto would start to have a panic attack and go in a corner and ball up and cry
"AALTO WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!!" Said the man as he came storming downstairs
When the man got to Aalto he would be holding Charlotte's hand as she somehow would be way more bruised up
Aalto would see this and be confused wondering where she got those injuries... then the man would pick up Aalto and throw him into a wall
As Cleo heard this she rushed to the noise and saw the man about to beat Aalto "NO PLEASE HE'S HAD ENOUGH" said Cleo as she got in front of the man to try and stop him
"GET THE FUCK OUT MY WAY," said the man as he smacked Cleo then ran to Aalto and picked him up "I shelter you..let you sleep and eat and this is how you repay me? BY HURTING MY DAUGHTER!?" Said the man furiously as he started to choke Aalto
Trying to breathe Aalto would then say "I didn't hurt her that much..all...I did..was..push.. here...I'm sorry," said Aalto as he would then started to cry
"It doesn't SEEM LIKE TO ME THAT WAS JUST A PUSH," Said the man as he would then tighten the grip
"I'm telling the truth! All I did was a little push because she was messing up my toy look at her fingers you can tell by how they look that they seem like they are numb by how tight and how much she was grabbing and messing up the toy" Said Aalto
The man would then look at Charlotte's fingers and they would seem numb
"Sure...you're telling the truth...but that doesn't justify WHAT YOU DID," said the man as he launched Aalto to the ground and started stomping on him
There would be blood splattering everywhere as Cleo would then again try to stop the man but get punched into a wall by the man he would then continue to beat up Aalto until he was barely breathing
Aalto would be sitting there all bloody and battered hanging on to life by a needle
The man would then sigh as his hands are completely bloody "Don't ever..do that shit again or next time...I'll kill you....." Said the man as he kicked Aalto's gut and walked away
Charlotte would then walk over to Aalto as he would be holding his stomach balling up into a ball crying "Tsk...tsk..tsk for a second there I thought the old man was going to believe you...too bad you all brains but only had one evidence to back it all up...but..I will commend you on this...yes my hands were extremely numb but you forgot one thing...." As she said this she would then go to Aalto's ear and whisper "You didn't tell him about why my clothes are all tattered" Said Charlotte
Aalto would then widen his eyes at this realization
"If you would have told him a good reason why for that...well...he likely would have gone easier on you...but...too bad you too weak to hurt anyone...so I bruised myself up and ripped my clothes up...sorry it's just...funny to see your helpless face as your being beaten down with no way to protect yourself... it's hilarious...you try to read books as much as you can but there are times when knowledge can't get you anywhere..." Said Charlotte as she would then slowly walked away from Aalto
A few hours later Cleo would then again patch Aalto up but this time patch herself up as well
They would both be silent until Cleo said this "I'm sorry...so sorry..." As Cleo said this she began to cry
Aalto would have a lifeless expression on his face as he looked at Cleo she would then hug Aalto
"I'm so sorry you have to go through this...I wish I could get you out of here NO CHILD SHOULD HAVE TO GO THROUGH THIS" Said Cleo tearing up while hugging Aalto
Aalto would be so depressed all he could do was listen and hug Cleo back
The next day the family and ofc except for Aalto would be eating at the dining table until they got a knock on their door
"? I'll get it!" Said Charlotte as she got up from her chair and went to the door and opened it
Then the same hooded man from that day would show up soaked and wet cause of the rain but he would have alcohol in his hand and drink it
As he would then say "whersh iz the bafroom" the man drunkenly
"WHO THE HELL IS-" said the man as he would then stop himself and told Charlotte to let him in "Alice...show him to our bathroom..." Said the man
Then Alice would get up and show the man to their bathroom Charlotte would also close the door behind the man and lock it after he comes in
After a few long minutes, the mysterious man would still be in the bathroom
"the hell is taking him so long?" said the man grudgingly
Aalto then walked inside "I'm done cleaning the shed," said Aalto as he was saying this walking up to the man
"Good, our guest is taking a bit too long in the restroom I suggest you go and check up on him... " Said the man
"y-yes sir..." Said Aalto as he did what the man said and went to the bathroom then knocked on the door
"Hey, you okay in there? " said Aalto worriedly
There was no answer
"All right I'm coming in! " said aalto as he opened the door to his surprise he saw the mysterious drunken fellow with his head in the toilet passed out
"Uh oh... " said aalto as he tried to tap on the man and wake him up
"ugh..." Said the man as he slowly woke up
"you okay sir? " said aalto worriedly
"yeah I'm fine kid," said the man
"you don't seem like it... I suggest you drink water and eat crackers to calm your hangover" said aalto
"w-what? How do you-" said the man confused
"the man that's taking care of me always gets drunk after work so that's how I learned..." said aalto
"oh, I see. So that old man is your caretaker.. " said the man
"yup..unfortunately.." said aalto as he helped the man up brought him to the living room and sat him down on the sofa
"ugh..." said the man tiredly
"what's your name kid? " said the man
"Aalto," said aalto
"aalto huh? Nice name who named you? " said the man curiously
"i-i don't know... " said aalto sadly
"hmm...that's interesting," said the man intrigued
"what's your name?" said aalto curiously
"it's-" said the man as he would then get interrupted
"HEY WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE??" said the man angrily as he came storming to the living room
"Sorry old man was just getting my shit together..." said the man as he then got up and left
The other man would then grab aalto very strongly
"I told you to show our guest to the bathroom. NOT TO STRIKE UP A CONVERSATION WITH HIM!!!" said the man angrily
"i-i'm sorry!" said aalto tearing up and terrified
The man would stop at the door and stand there as the other man prepared to punch aalto the mysterious man would stop him
"HUH!? " said the man confusingly
"so you have been abusing him..tch.. figures..why don't you chill on the kid okay? " said the man as he slowly unhands the man
The other man would then punch the mysterious man through the wall into the backyard then he would drop aalto walk through the hole in the wall and walk over to the mysterious man
"you think I'm going to let your filthy disgusting hands touch me and get away from it?" said the man as he would then crack his knuckles
The mysterious man would then get up and say "Ugh.. you're going to regret that" he would then fully get up and a breeze of wind would push his hood off him
Seeing his face in a surprised expression the man would then say "W-WAIT YOUR-" said the man
As then the mysterious man's face would be revealed he would have black messy hair with a black beard and dark blue eyes and the cloak would show that he's wearing adventurer gear and has been wearing a fur hood
"OZUL FEINHART THE FIRE BRINGER OF SEVERANCE!!" said the man scaredly
"Damn... completely forgot that's my alias...oh well it's badass enough," said Ozul confidently
Aalto would be watching in amazement
Ozul would then look at the man "You still want to fight old man? Or are you going to pussy out and run like the little pig you are?" Said ozul with threatening intent
"THE FUCK YOU CALL ME YOU BRAT!? I'LL RIP OUT YOUR GUTS AND SELL THEM ON THE BLACK MARKET!!!" said the man as he then had a huge red aura around him that would rage
"I called you a pig...or is that not in your dictionary?" said ozul
The man would then charge at ozul with the intent to kill as ozul would pull his sword out from his back and coat it in black flames then swing it towards the man saying "Llamas Negras De DestrucciĂłn(Black Flames Of Destruction" as ozul would say this the move would slice the man in half with his flames and upon impact would cause a huge fire explosion
The move caused the clouds in the sky to be severed in two and start to have sunlight as there would be a lot of smoke as the smoke cleared up the man would be ashes on the ground then ozul would say "Well then... I commend him for still challenging me even knowing my name... " said ozul as he would then look at aalto and walk over to him
"Sorry about killing him even though I can tell he made your life a living he-" Before he can finish his sentence aalto hugs him crying tears of joy
"THANK YOU!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! " Aalto would be crying uncontrollably
Ozul would be speechless but then say "Uhh n-no problem...man," says ozul too surprised to speak
As then ozul would push aalto out of the way almost getting hit by a knife
"WHO TF DID THA-" says ozul with his hand on the sword handle Then Ozul looks and sees who threw the knife and it would be Charlotte
"YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!! I'LL KILL YOU!!!!" said Charlotte angrily with bloodthirsty aura
"Look, kid... Your pops was a piece of shit and you and your other sister were clearly his favorites. To be honest I'm not a child killer...so I'm not going to fight you" As Ozul would say this he would sheath his blade and walk to aalto and help him up as he would say "You okay aalto? My bad if I pushed you too hard"
Aalto would then reply by saying "It's okay I'm fine" as aalto finished getting up he saw Charlotte about to attack ozul and as he tried to warn him ozul had already dodged the attack
Charlotte would then swing left and right trying to hit ozul but Ozul would dodge every attack
"Come on you can do better than that... I hope" as Ozul would say this Alice would come up from behind and try to stab him
"oh shit-" said Ozul as he would be caught off guard
"OZUL NO!!" Says Aalto In a state of panic as he then starts to remember how to use magic from a book he read when he was younger then he would rush to get a huge stick pretending it's a wand and conjure magic by absorbing water from some flowers and then say "Vesitykki!! (Water Cannon)"
as Aalto would say this spell would shoot a huge ball of water and launch onto Alice sending her into the air and landing on the ground with the spell wetting her in the process
Aalto would then fall and lay down on the ground exhausted from using the spell
Both Charlotte and Ozul would sit there dumbfounded
"A-All this time YOU COULD DO MAGI-" Before she could finish her sentence she was knocked out by Ozul
"Phew..." Ozul would then look at Aalto surprised
"I didn't know he could do magic either...for a second there though...as he did that spell I could sense his mana pool...it was so large it was unbelievable that it seemed like that was his first time using his magic...the amount of potential this kid has...wait..." As Ozul would be saying this in his mind he would remember the necklace Aalto was wearing and recognize the symbol
"Wait a minute...that symbol...!!! IS HE-" As Ozul would say this in his mind he would stop himself and stop thinking about it and go to Aalto
Ozul would then lift aalto up and speak to him "Hey Aalto you'll be alright that was your first time using a spell so your drawback will be exhaustion..." As Ozul would be saying this he would sit aalto up
"Ugh...okay.I'm glad you okay" says aalto happily
"HAH! Please I would have still been okay with or without your help...but I appreciate it" says Ozul
Aalto would then smile then say "Heh...yeah I guess you're right"
Aalto and Ozul would then walk into the hole in the wall of the house and see Cleo cleaning up
Ozul would then walk over to Cleo and say "What are you gonna do now?" Says Ozul curiously
Cleo would then reply and say "I-I don't know..." Says Cleo with a confused expression
Then she would look up at Ozul and say "But for now all I can say is...thank you..."
Ozul would nod then leave
Aalto would walk over to Cleo and hug her and then he would say "Miss Cleo are you going to be okay?" Aalto says concerningly
"Yes...but...you should go...you shouldn't stay here any longer," says Cleo with a sad expression
Aalto would then stammer and be speechless but then say "B-but I want to stay with you...." Says Aalto with a sad expression then he starts to cry
Cleo would wipe his tears then look at him and say "I know...I know...but I don't want you to waste your life and waste the amount of potential you have because you can also go to school...a good one at that.....Aalto you have a gift...and you need to use it to help others and protect the people you love and and cherish...please...for me..." Says Cleo while smiling
Aalto would still be sad but then look at Cleo and say "Okay...okay, I will...I promise..." As Aalto would say this he would hug Cleo one last time
"Good...now go pack your bags and go...go with him..." Says Cleo
Aalto would then go to the shed and get his stuff and the backpack that he made and put the dolphin toy in his backpack then he would put his clothes on there zip them up and put them on
Aalto would then walk and then look at Cleo and see her waving as he would then wave back and look away and go to Ozul
As Cleo is smiling and waving she is crying tears of joy
Aalto would see Ozul catch up to him and say "OZUL WAIT UP!" Says Aalto yelling at Ozul as he gets to him
"Hm? You want to come with me?" Says Ozul curiously
Aalto would then catch up to Ozul and say "Yeah...I made a promise to Miss Cleo that I would go into the world...go to school...and get strong enough to protect people I cherish...and you can help me..." Says Aalto with a determined expression on his face
"It would be interesting to see how powerful he gets...go to school huh? I think I got just the school" As Ozul would be saying this in his mind he would then say "All right then..here's the deal...I have a school in mind that you can go to...but I would have to train you up for the entrance exam...which should start in 4 months...so in those 4 months you have to survive my training and if you do...I'll sign you up for the entrance exam and if you don't survive...well you just don't survive" says Ozul nonchalantly
Aalto would then think long and hard about it then he would say "Okay... it's a deal...wait what's the school called?" Says aalto curiously
"The school is called Vidarth School Of Magic one of the best schools in this whole world!" says Ozul confidently
As Aalto would sit there amazed
"All right let's get going," says Ozul as he would then starts to walk
Aalto would then continue to walk with him and then.
