Androw, taking a deep breath, began the challenging task of climbing onto Baal's back in the dimly lit cave. As he ascended, he suddenly remembered that Aerea was also climbing alongside him. He looked down and asked, "Aerea, what are you doing?"
Aerea, still focused on her climb, replied, "Can't you see? I'm climbing."
Androw couldn't help but quip, "Well, you're certainly determined to meet your death."
After both of them successfully reached the top of Baal's back, Androw spoke to the dragon in High Valyrian, saying, "Well, my friend, I will call you Baal from now on."
Baal slowly got up from his resting position on the ground. Aerea had also made her way to the top, just in front of Androw, who tightly held onto her to prevent her from falling. Suddenly, Baal began to move towards the cave's exit, and as he exited the cave, his speed increased dramatically.
Androw and Aerea both screamed in unison as they were taken into the sky, their eyes watering from the wind's force. Baal proved to be one of the fastest dragons in the entire series. Their screams echoed in the air, and Androw held onto Baal's spines for dear life.
Desperately, Androw implored Baal, "Baal, please go slower!" But the dragon paid no heed, continuing to soar through the skies. Their terrifyingly fast and acrobatic flight almost caused Aerea to slip from Androw's grasp, as his fear grew.
As time passed, Baal began to stabilize his flight, bringing a sense of calm to Androw's racing heart. Androw gradually regained his composure, while Aerea, now feeling a sense of exhilaration, released her grip on Baal. Had Androw not been holding her close by her waist, she would have been lost to the sea below. The experience was nothing short of epic and unforgettable.
As the sun began its ascent from the east, Androw spoke to Baal in High Valyrian, "Baal, let's go home." Baal adjusted his course, heading back towards Dragonstone. However, Aerea protested vehemently, insisting, "I don't want to go back. Tell him to turn around!"
Androw felt his patience wearing thin, his hands clenching with frustration due to Aerea's stubbornness. Taking a deep breath, he said, "Aerea, I'm tired. Let's take a break." Recognizing Androw's irritation, Aerea fell silent.
What irritated Androw even more was the discomfort caused by the dragon's spines poking into his stomach. All he wanted was to get back on solid ground. Rather than returning to their lair, Baal landed near the castle gate, following Androw's instructions. The guards were terrified at the sight of the dragon, for they had never encountered a creature like this. When they saw Androw and Aerea on the dragon's back, they gradually calmed down.
Some assumed that Princess Aerea had tamed this formidable dragon, but nobody expected that it was Androw who had forged this powerful bond. When the guards cautiously approached the dragon, Baal let out a burst of green flames into the sky, deterring them from getting too close to Aerea and Androw as they dismounted.
The unnatural green hue of the flames did not go unnoticed. Once safely on the ground, Androw instructed Baal to return to his lair. With a mighty roar, Baal took off, flying back towards the cave. Aerea waved her hands in farewell.
As Aerea stood amidst the approaching guards, they congratulated her for seemingly taming the dragon. She argued back, insisting that it was Androw who had forged this connection. Androw, uninterested in engaging with the annoying guards, walked away, craving nothing more than a well-deserved rest. The guards chuckled at Aerea's claim, finding it amusing that Androw who is not Valyrian had managed to tame such an eccentric-looking dragon.
