Still Thursday
"I would have answered you politely if you hadn't glared at me", she said somewhat casually. " Wait for me outside", she ordered as I went out obediently.
The funny thing about it is that I am waiting.
Finally she's here
"How could you keep me waiting. Do you know who I am",I asked as rude as ever.
"Who doesn't know you, Master Riverdale. The over-bearing spoilt son of GCU. You are a shame to every student- mentor in this school", she said, her beautiful cat-like eyes glistening with warning.
Alright, I'm so gonna look for trobule.
"Great speech, miss. By the way, what is your name", I asked as she gave me a deathly glare and walked away.
The crowd chuckled and made sounds.
" When did you guys gather round. The drama has ended. Crowd dismissed", I concluded lazily.
" Hey, Orion. What's going on", a familiar male voice said.
" Hey there, Cole. Did you see the drama that just occurred", I asked,still looking at the direction she left.
" Yep, everything. Especially how she walked out on you and you said nothing"
" Yeah. Have any idea what her name is"
"Oh my world, Orion. You don't know her. She's a girl nobody, I mean no one messes with. Especially not the boys. Her best friend, Miss Zaviera Parker, a cute adorable princess always by her side while a guy named Zack is always behind her. She's in your sister's level, the fifth year. Your sister, the not so much princess doesn't cross her path, if not..."
" Well, name",
" Ohh. Her name is Ramona Sawyer"
" Thanks man. For the name and info. And now..", I said putting on my shades," it's time to catch a gemstone"
"Oh no"
"Including your cute adorable Zaviera Parker"
"Okay. Let do this", he replied overjoyed
"At the expense of my sister's happiness"
"Your sister doesn't like me, she likes Cade"
"Lie..."
" Is not. And drop the stupid shade. We're just going to class".
"Guy, you've got to stop telling lies and you know I like the shades on", I said as he rolled his eyes. We continued our argument till we reached the hall for next class, Electronics.
As usual, we arrive late.
"Welcome Master Riverdale and Master Ford", professor Jones said as I nodded while Cole greeted, "good afternoon professor"
We walked towards our seat as Cade said,"you know he was being sarcastic".
"Yup", I answered as I bought out my palmtop and downloaded today's topic, Control system.
" Before our young masters arrived, we established the fact that a control system has three basic element. Without any of these parts, the whole system would fail. To set up a good control system, the steps are as follows"
" Cade, before we arrived, did he announce any thing important", I ask.
" Yes, we are submitting the project on Monday", Cole's brother replied.
" Oh no", I said as Cole widened his eyes.
"Seems like our young masters over there know what to do", professor Jones said pointing towards us.
" Must you always be sarcastic", I asked angrily.
Orion
" Orion", Cade and Cole shouted as I rolled my eyes scrolling through the palmtop.
The steps to set up a good control system is right here. I dunno what he's yapping all about.
"Well, class. Young Master Riverdale has offered to be the leader for our next project. Class dismissed".
"Orion, he's the fourth teacher you've upset today and the third you've sent out of the class with your attitude. You've got to change", Cade said as he carried his palmtop and left the hall.
"There's no need for that, Orion darling. You're perfect just the way you are"
" Ava, stop hyping him. My brother is right. And none of you should be late for the project. Remember we've just arranged the parts and we are submitting on Monday", Cole said following his brother's lead.
" Don't listen to them, Orion", Ava said touching my shoulder.
"Alright", I said removing her hand.
Got to make to things right. Cade and Cole are very upset with me.
"Sir, I'm really sorry", I said with great difficulty when I caught up with professor Alfred Jones.
"I understand, boy. It's okay. Young Master Ford informed me, you guys may need help. And you know I can't help you, so I'll ask my best student to assist".
" Thank you sir. But... Your best student can't be from our year right"
" Of course not. I've had no favorites or best student till she entered this school"
" And if I may ask, which year is she"
" It doesn't matter, which level she is. The moment I tell you her name, you'll know her level", he said proudly as I lifted an eyebrow.
" Oh. She's Ramona Sawyer".
"How convenient. She's in my sister's year", I answered thinking of the blue cat eyes, "Thanks sir. Please inform her to meet me at the school's fountain at three".
" I'm not sure she would make it on time. She's always getting into trobule. Some teachers may have asked her to wait behind for punishment", he said smiling sweetly.
" And she will", I asked confused.
" Yes, of course. Once in a while, she may be disrespectful but she isn't disobedient. Never", he answered entering his laboratory, "see boy, I'll ask her to meet you immediately she's done with her appointments. Why don't you give her your number for her to call you to pick her up. But with her attitude, she won't agree till I ask her myself"
"Okay sir. Thanks for everything. And I'm really sorry", I replied as he nodded as I walked into the cafeteria hall
Cafeteria hall
"Hey".
"Hello"
"How's life, man", the voices of fans, followers and supporters rang through my way to my seat.
"Hey, what made you change your mind about eating here", my girlfriend the school had given me asked.
I dunno if she is or not
"Hello brother", my siblings said simultaneously.
"I don't know. I just wanted to eat with people again. Though it's rather peaceful to eat lunch at the garden but I have to show the other leaders that I'm still alive and kicking"
In GCU, there are three leaders among the students.
Jayden Campbell, in charge of the bullies and the school thugs or better still truants.
Ryan Sawyer, in charge of the normal, weak, meek and brother of Ramona.
Then I, Orion Riverdale, in charge of the rich and mostly bitches.
"Cole, Cade. I've apologized to professor Jones. Now, quit being upset with me, please", I said when they spared me no glance.
Professor Jones is Cole's favourite teacher and Electronics is Cade's favourite subject.
"I'm really sorry, guys", I muttered under my breath so that only they could hear me.
"What. Wow, Orion. You said sorry", Cade said as I looked at him with a mocking gaze.
"It's the third time I said it today", I said as Cole chuckled.
"See you guys soon",I said as I stood up.
"Where are you going to", Cole asked.
"Mmh, I want to see somebody", I replied and left.
