Lilith Aurelia,
After the party, Amaya and I began to grow closer. Despite our differences, she was a nice girl who intrigued me. If she was like the day, I was like the night. She reminded me of someone I knew, someone who is dearer to me than anyone else.
During class, my mind wandered, and I accidentally blurted out, "Aw man, I miss the good old days." The entire class turned to look at me, and I realized I had messed up.
During the interval, I approached Amaya. "Hey Amaya, are you doing okay?" I greeted her.
"Yeah, I'm fine," she replied.
"I wanted to talk about that dream... you know what I mean, right? Can we talk after school? We can walk together," I suggested.
"I'm free after school, but we might not be going the same way," she responded.
"It doesn't matter, I have plenty of time. Consider it a promise, okay?" I said with a smirk.
In truth, I was partially interested in discussing the dream, but it was also an excuse to spend time with her. She probably wouldn't have agreed otherwise.
Actually I was bored.

As we walked together, I asked, "So, what can you tell me about the dream?"
"Actually, I haven't had the dream again," she replied.
"That was your first time, huh?" I inquired.
"Yes," she replied with a simple answer.
It felt awkward discussing the dream, and that's when I heard a familiar voice behind me.
"Nora... Nora..."
I turned around and saw him - Caelan Evander, the person who is closest to me. "Cael," I said.
"What the heck are you doing here?" I asked him.
"Right back at you, Nora," he replied.
"Oh, this is my friend Amaya," I said, introducing them to each other. "And this is Cael."
"Nice to meet you, Cael," Amaya greeted.
"It's Caelan, not Cael," he corrected her, keeping his gaze fixed on me.
"Cael, why are you like this? I know you don't like it when other people call you that, but it's my fault. So, I apologize, okay?" I said.
"Okay, okay... Amaya... I'm sorry for being rude to you," he said, finally breaking eye contact with me.
"Nice to meet you." Nora was talking about you these past few days," he said, but then quickly corrected himself, "I mean Lilith."
"Nora...?" Amaya asked, confused.
"No, I mean Lilith," Cael said, looking at me intently.
He reminded me of a cat. I chuckled.
