[Two months had passed after the grey's scandal and once again ANDRE was at the police station under another interrogation by his favourite, POLICE CONSTABLE 2.]
ANDRE: I still don't get why I'm here again.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: Skipping all the bullshit, you're here 'cos a lead was found.
ANDRE: [perplexed] Okay so what's that got to do with me?
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: This new lead entails a lot 'bout you. Well you see I carried out a private investigation on my own and was able to triangulate some Intel into one with you being the head.
ANDRE: [smiling] Wow, interesting.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: That grin you have there would disappear after hearing what I'm 'bout to say. A lab result showed that you had bitten the deceased grey before he was murdered.
ANDRE: [shocked] What, constable I ain't a rabid dog or person to go on a biting tour.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: That's what I don't get. Did you have a scuffle with the deceased after he badmouthed you?
ANDRE: No.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: If no, explain how your canine mark ended up on the deceased's neck?
ANDRE: You got your results all wrong 'cos that canine mark could possibly belong to any other human on this blasted earth.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: My lab tech's results are never wrong so either we do it the easy way or we do it the hard way. It's your call to make.
ANDRE: Like I said earlier I don't know how my so called canine mark ended up on his neck.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: If no, who's your boss and why do you guys murder those black girls?
ANDRE: Officer can I get my lawyer?
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: Mr. MARTINEZ I ain't arresting you or something so you wouldn't need your lawyer. Since you agreed to help us in our investigation, I will proposed you tell me everything concerning the murder,
ANDRE: I get what you're saying but I don't know anything more or less that I told you concerning the murder.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: I still don't have proof but my instincts say you are involved in the murder.
ANDRE: Tell me officer; are you to follow your instincts or some genuine facts?
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: Young man don't try and get cocky around me or you're gonna regret it.
ANDRE: [mockingly says] Is that so officer?
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: It seems you don't want to help but remember these words, "if you're in any way connected with this murder you sure are gonna taste hell's flames". [He eats the burger as he stared at ANDRE, notices him wincing his nose at something.]Why you don't like garlic or you're just allergic or something?
ANDRE: [covers his nostrils with his hand] No it's just that the smell is unpleasant and tickling my nose hairs.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: I see if you can't really give any information I guess it's time for you to leave. But just to be clear the next time I will see you hear would be in jail.
ANDRE: [stands to leave] Then if you don't really have anything to tell or ask me, I guess I have to go.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: See ya very soon. [He watches ANDRE leave the office. Sitting there alone he gets this crazy thought and calls in JASON.]
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: [Watches JASON enter the office] Hey lab techie, I got some questions for you.
JASON: Alright if only I can answer them.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: What do vampires hate?
JASON: [confused] As in.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: I mean like what things does vampires dislike?
JASON: For starters what they hate the most is the sun which according to myths can incinerate them. The second thing is an herbaceous plant known as vervain which is somewhat like poison to them. Another thing which is highly important is wood. Wood when staked into them reacts with the molecules in their bodies which desiccates them. The minor thing is that they hate the smell of garlic.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: Concerning the garlic, do they hold their noses when they come into contact with it?
JASON: Yes but Sir why do you ask, wait don't tell me you have…
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: [interjects] Yes so you gonna need to pack all the stuff we would need for our expedition, we are going vampire undercover.
JASON: Wow Sir if I may intrude, do you have anyone in mind?
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: For now let's call it a hunch my instincts are telling me.
JASON: Are we doing it now or when?
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: Why not or you got something else to do?
JASON: Then I better get to work.
POLICE CONSTABLE 2: [grins] Pack all what you have to.
