Screams started to get louder and louder as everyone was waiting for the miracle. The nobles stared at Eve too. Though they do not care about rian as much as the commoners do, they wanted to see Eve doing a miracle too. As much as they believed that she was a kind woman and they have misunderstood her. They still did not believe that she had mystic powers or that she was a blessing in reality.
It felt more like Damien's trick to get rid of his punishment. If Eve was the saint, they could not keep her husband in prison. But if she was not, then they would make sure that the couple stayed there together.
