"I will be here to serve as your eyes, your eminence. His grace had sent me for you." Soliene looked at Eve with a solemn look. "We have to.." she paused when footsteps were heard behind her. The door opened and she saw a priest there followed by Harold being dragged by his aide.
The moment her eyes met with the aide, he bowed his head at once.
"Your eminence." The priest bowed to surprising Harold. But his eyes glinted with joy. A layer of pride filling his face. "The lord is late for the audience but his condition is too serious, if you could be kind enough to spare him a few minutes." the man struggled, "the church had never returned a refugee, your eminence. Please reconsider." the man bowed his head with reverence, making Eve raise her head.
"The lord here wanted my help?" with a mirth in her voice she laughed and nodded at the priest.
As if receiving an amnesty, the priest left with hurried steps with a smile on his face.
