When the door knocked, Eve's eyes followed the door, her eyes narrowed ready to scold Damien for locking her in the room. But the person entering was not Damien. But Killian and Aric. he was the last person she was expecting to be there.
"You are safe!" he whispered with joy as if they were long lost friends. He looked more at ease and approachable today. But she did not let her guard down.
"Do you.. Forget it! I just tagged along to see you again." he whispered when Eve did not reply but kept staring at him as if he was a stranger.
Killian shook his head and scanned the room. There was no maid to support her which made him frown.
"I have sent Olga for a chore. If you are looking for my maids." there should be more! He wanted to reply but he only snickered and forced a calm look on his face.
