Damien glared at the papers as if he was trying to burn a hole in them. His cold eyes made minor mistakes with such harshness as if he was going to issue a death sentence to his staff. They all stood on their side holding his breath.
"It has been half a decade, yet you are making mistakes in the budget." the pages flew and landed in front of his assistant. He quickly searched for mistakes and found he had added three extra silver coins for flexibility. Damien had marked those coins. He wanted to shout but no voice came out when he opened his mouth. All the grievance was struck in his throat when he looked at Damien's burning crimson eyes.
"And you, Marcus.. You marked the point wrong. Here! I have completed your task too.'' The man was the chief commandant of the army. He had been marking the points of fight since childhood. He had marked their camps and fighting points in war. How the hell could he be wrong?
