"Eve! Run and hide somewhere far. I will come to search for you soon." Before she could refuse him, he had already jumped from the horse and kicked the horse at its back.
The horse neighed hard and ran away. Damien felt a dagger piercing him as he let her go. It might be a trap but he could not include her in this war too.
"Follow her." commanded their leader but before they could leave, fire engulfed them.
"Aahhhh!" their shrieks started to fill the air. Not only them but the trees around him were engulfed with fire too. The horse ran over a monk to save their life.
A few had their skin and tail burnt. They were screaming and shouting. Eve heard the distant noises. She finally stopped her horse and looked back. Huge flames were rising in the sky. Dark clouds had covered that area.
