"It has been days!" Cotlin looked at the ceiling with a melancholic look, "i have tried everything but we could not get any news of Duke and duchess."
Diana wrapped her arms around his waist and leaned on his chest.
"My father is going to leave tonight. No one knows where he is going except mother. When I asked, she told me that it is an urgent duty. I think he is going to meet the grand duke. Are you sure you will follow him alone?" That was the only reason Cotlin had entered her room stealthily. Her room's window shows the exit of the manor. They would know when his father would leave.
"A group might get the knight's attention. Moreover I trust no one else but me." he looked at her, the frost in his eyes slowly melting as he noticed her worried face. "And I am trained enough to deal with your father and his nights. There is nothing to worry about." he leaned and kissed her forehead earning a sigh from her.
