"Part of you?" Eve frowned. "What does that mean?"
The girl gave a helpless smile. Instead of walking toward Eve, she took a step back and sat on the bed.
"Abragam did not tell you anything?" The way she took the name of the cardinal as if he was a child made Eve gulp.
"I do not trust him. And I do not trust you. What are you even doing here?" the woman raised a brow as she looked at Eve with sheer surprise.
"Why? You have called for me with desperation. Of course I am bound to reply to you. Your mother was afraid of me and so was you. But I have never harmed you or her. I have tried to save her till the end. And she had used my own power against me. She had created a seal on you to hurt me." the woman's eyes flared with rage but she closed them and sighed.
