"..." Eve's eyes widened. She had expected all kinds of dangers here but she had never thought that a girl could be attacked by the priests.
"Ha! And they call themselves pious." Eve's voice rose with scorn. But the girl shook her head again.
"They were not priests. There is a lot of staff work here to manage this place. I am going to complain in the morning with the priest. So it is just a matter of night.'' The girl sighed as she covered her arms and Eve noticed nail marks from her torn sleeves. Her dress was torn around her legs too.
"It is alright, you can stay in my room for the night." Eve offered with a kind look on her face making the girl blink. She looked shocked by the sudden offer making Eve guilty.
