"Yes" Eve hesitated for a second before nodding, "how long have you been volunteering here?"
"It has been one and a half decades, my lady. I have been working here since I was four." the woman smiled sweetly at Eve. "You are the second saint I have met. The first one was the blessing of the goddess."
"This goddess you speak of?" Evangeline looked at the small statue. She still could not shake off the feeling of being watched. "Did you know the first saint serving her? What were her duties or how she was treated in the church? I am still not sure what I am supposed to do and do not want to disappoint his eminence." though she said so with teary eyes, Eve only wanted to know how the priest had treated the saint so that she could be prepared already.
