Harold looked aghast. As if someone had brought a pitcher of cold water and splashed it on his face. His eyes made a hole in Eve's head.
He had thought that they would be given equal chances and then he would have the upper hand. It would be a perfect opportunity to show Eve that she was not against him. But this?
