"Cotlin.." the voice broke the electrifying silence between them. Diana gritted her teeth and stared at Harold with a death glare. For some reason, she had felt that Cotlin was going to say something very important. For once, he was going to explain things to her. But this foolish man had to choose that very moment.
But the man did not spare her a glance. She was not needed anymore. His eyes were on Cotlin.
"I have never thought that you wanted to attend my party or I would have sent you an invitation." he smiled kindly as if Cotlin was his lost brother from another mother. "But since you are already here, mind joining me for a drink." his hands reached for Cotlin's shoulders and the grip was anything but friendly as he looked at the man.
