Hazel woke up with a start. She sat up and looked around but when the blanket started to slip off her body. She held it tightly as if it was a shield that could protect her from everything. Her hair was a mess and her body was covered with marks she did not want to see.
She scanned the floor and found her dress on the corner. It was shredded into pieces as if she was not with a human but was with an animal last night. She was mortified. How could she do this?
"Are you awake?" The voice sounded so soft, so warm, so loving last night. Now, she comes to loathe it and that smile on his face. How she wanted to slap him to get rid of that smirk off his face.
"What did you do to me?" she hissed in a cold voice as she scowled at him.
