Daniel went to work even though he had nothing to do for the day. He had initially stacked up his work files for later, but seeing how messed up his thoughts were, he decided to use it to keep himself busy.
Daniel worked all through the night. It was getting to 3am in the morning, but he showed no sign of calling it a day.
"Uhmm... Sorry to interrupt sir. I... I... Don't you think it would be better if you take some rest?" Wilson suggested.
He was scared Daniel will do something to him for his outspokenness, but he still spoke up.
His boss has been acting strange, which scared Wilson and made him to feel pity for Daniel at the same time.
He suddenly realised Daniel had been struggling with his emotions for a long time. He then realised Daniel was not the bad guy he had always portrayed.
Daniel ran his fingers through his hair, relaxing his body on the swivel chair he sat on. "Don't worry about me. You can go back home. It's getting late."
