Stanley could not fathom what had happened. He sat in confusion in the living room.
He could not understand why Daniel acted the way he did, or why Elena did what she did.
If he knows his daughter well, then she would have done something really bad to Daniel, but instead, she apologized to him.
"Why did she do that?" He queried outwardly.
"I can't believe you're still thinking about that. You know Elena can be a little bit confusing at times. You need to rest for the day." Selena said, walking down the stairs to meet her husband with a confused expression on his face.
"I just don't get it." Stanley said, still confused.
"Neither do I, but Elena won't say a thing to us even if we asked. I'm just shocked to see Daniel acting in such a way.I'm still finding it hard to believe he was faking all these while." Selena said, sitting next to Stanley on the couch.
