Two days had passed, yet Dawn had not regained consciousness. It was a slow process for her body to heal itself.
Dawn groaned in pain as she found it difficult to get up. She had regained consciousness, but her body was yet to heal completely.
She could still feel pains all over her body from the fall. "How did everything fall apart so quickly?" She questioned herself as tears ran down her cheeks.
She dragged her body to a log nearby, and rested her head on it. She closed her eyes, and drifted off to sleep.
She slept all through the night. She woke up hours later, feeling much better. The pains were half gone, but the marks were still there. She could barely stand on her feet.
It took longer for her bones to heal. Her powers were still weak, so it would take up to weeks before any injury pertaining to her bone will heal completely.
