Dawn looked at him, confusion written all over her face. "What do you mean?" She managed to ask.
Her grandfather maintained the blank expression he had since she met him outside. "I mean, you can't stay here forever. That young man whom you rescued might figure out your secrets. You need to plan on leaving this place, sooner than later." He replied.
"You're not in any good condition to travel for now. Until when you get better, I'm not leaving this place." Dawn said almost angrily.
"Besides, where would I go to? I'll be hunted down if any one ever finds out I have magic." She added.
Her grandfather remained quiet afterwards. Dawn has to look at him to know if he's sleeping or not. She found him, staring at the grasses this time around.
Her heart was pounding really fast. Her grandfather always have something to say. He was not the kind to just sit and stare.
