Liam had pushed through the demon dogs which were scratching on any part of his body their claw could come in contact with.
Liam rushed out of the room, and at that moment the entire mountain collapsed, but Liam was quick enough to save both his and Elena's life.
His wings popped out, and he covered Elena with them as he flew out of the cave through the roof.
Liam took to the sky with a great speed, and luckily, he was able to escape the cave before the hill came crashing down. Liam covered Elena with his wings to prevent any harm from getting to her.
He had only gone few miles away from the rubble of the cave, and then, he started falling. To him, it was like he could no longer feel his wings.
