Alex headed back to his room after his practice with Griffin. He was unhappy about his burnt hand. The burn mark was from his elbow down to his fingers. The joy he felt pertaining his unlocked powers was greater than the pain he felt in his hand.
"Hi." Ava said with a smile as she walked into Alex's room few minutes after he returned. It was like she had been monitoring him to know when he would return. They were kind of like a couple although they've not made things official yet.
"How are you doing? What's that lovely smell?" Alex questioned as his stomach rumbled. He had been practicing for almost all the day, and it was evening time already. He was really starving, and the aroma coming from the tray of food brought by Ava was making his mouth watery.
