"Greetings your highness." The lady next to Alonzo greeted Liam. 'I can't believe I'm really doing this.' Liam sighed inwardly.
"Welcome to the castle of Amstrid." Liam said politely. "Can I show you round?"
"If you wish your highness." The lady answered shyly.
'Ughh. Just kill me.' Liam face palmed himself inwardly. He found it really weird to just start talking to a lady simply because you're in search of a bride. He's the kind of person that believes in meeting by circumstance, and then getting to know each other very well.
"You won't regret it your highness. I specially selected her amongst the others." Alonzo said to Liam as they walked into the castle.
"I wouldn't want this whole courtship stuff to last more than an hour, so your specially selected lady better impress me before then." Liam whispered to Alonzo.
Liam and the lady walked to the garden while Alonzo went about his daily duties as the head over the kingdom's affairs.
