Liam had spent close to three months in Country Z, and instead of gaining full control over his demon side, he ended up playing the role of Elena's guard and butler.
"Hey. I need your help with something." Elena said to Liam the moment he stepped into her apartment.
"Good morning to you too." Liam rolled his eyes playfully.
"Hush. I need your help."
"Of course you do." Liam plumped into the couch.
"You wouldn't have to stress yourself if you'll just accept my offer, and stay here."
"Are you trying to take my life or something? Why are you persistent on me staying with you?" Liam inquired with raised brows.
"Just forget it. It's your loss. Anyways, my parent's wedding anniversary is next week, and I need to get them a present. You seem like someone who has eyes out for nice things, so I need your help in picking out a gift." Elena explained to Liam, as she walked to her room to change from her pajamas.
