Alex was panting really hard, as he tried to catch his breath. Blood was slowly dripping down his upper arm and his abdomen.
"Maybe we should call it a day?" Griffin said to him, seeing the bad shape he was in.
"No." Alex disagreed, attempting to stand up straight, but he couldn't due to the much pain he felt all over his joints.
"Look at yourself. You're a mess. You should take a rest." Griffin adviced, but Alex was not having any of it.
"There would be no rest for me until I unlock me powers." Alex said stubbornly.
"You've been stressing your body out for two weeks straight without taking a rest. You should really take it easy on yourself." Griffin pleaded.
"And I'll continue stressing my body out until I unlock my powers, even if it takes me a whole month."
