Both men turned to each other in confusion as if telepathically asking each other, 'Is this guy high on something?'
"Well, are we going in or I should go back?" Liam asked, folding his arms.
The men as if on cue inhaled sharply before one of them knocked on the door. They waited, but got no response. They knocked again, but still got no response, so they entered anyway.
The room was dark and only the moon lit up the place. There wasn't much in the room. The swivel chair on the far end of the room which was initially facing the ceiling-to-floor window turned round.
Even in the darkness, the man who sat on the chair could make out the injuries on his employees.
"What the fuck happened to you? Don't tell me this good for nothing did this to you?" Their boss scolded in rage, making both men to shiver in fright.
