"Fine, but I'm not going back all by myself." Elena said with pouted lips.
"You really act like a child. Being the only child has affected you so much. Come on, I'll walk you back home." Liam said playfully.
"Why can't you stay with me at my place?" Elena asked as they both walked back to her place.
"You should be glad you're still alive right now." Liam whispered underneath his breath.
"What was that?" Elena turned to him.
"Nothing." Liam replied as they continued walking.
Few blocks close to the Morgan manor, all the lights on the street went out. Elena held onto Liam's arm like her life depended on it.
"Do you think they know I'm coming?" Elena asked shakily, still holding onto his arm.
"No one knows you're coming. There's probably a faulty connection somewhere." Liam reassured, but that didn't make Elena release her grip on his arm.
