Elena became scared, and at the same time, mad at herself for not convincing Liam to be her personal guard. Literally everywhere she was going to, someone was tracking her.
She felt safer whenever Liam was around even though she sees him as a poor stranger. She had complained to her parents about it, but they told her she was overthinking things.
Liam on the other hand decided to keep himself busy by keeping Elena safe from the shadows. He would keep a safe distance, and would always make sure that the people following her were not actually trying to do her any harm.
So far, all they did was just following and watching her all day, and Liam did the same thing. Somehow, following Elena around helped him to keep his mind occupied.
His demon would only surface every once in a while, and with the help of certain exercises, he was starting to learn how to cage his demon side.
"Hi Kathy. Can you come over to my place?" Elena said worriedly over the phone.
