Liam strolled round the busy town, and it was really having a positive effect on him as he was occupied with the things happening around him.
He stood waiting for a cab when he noticed a young lady walking mindlessly on the street. She seemed really lost in her thoughts as she was crossing the road without looking.
A speeding car was coming her way, but she didn't notice it. The honking of the car horn got louder, but she seemed really absent minded.
Liam was standing on the other side of the street, and he rushed to push her out of the way just when the car was about hitting her.
Only then did she come back to her senses. They both fell on the side walk. "Are you okay?" Liam gave her his hand to aid her get up.
"I... Uhh... Ye... Yes." She stuttered. "Thank you so much. Thanks for saving my life. I was... I had no idea... I..." She tried explaining, but Liam didn't hold it against her.
