"... Have you met a demon before?" Alex inquired with much eagerness to have the answers to his questions.
"I saw how lost you were when staring at the image inside the chamber of the elders. Why are you so interested in learning about the demons?" Griffin asked suspiciously.
"You won't understand even if I explain it to you. Besides, it's a secret."
"If you say so." Griffin shrugged, leaving Alex behind. Alex had to run to catch up with him.
"Wait up. You're supposed to give me an answer."
"What do you really want to know?" Griffin turned to him as he took a halt in his tracks.
"Well... Every single thing you know about these so-called demons. Have you had any personal encounter with one? They all can't be bad, can they?" Alex inquired all at once.
Griffin stared at him for a long while.
It was obvious Alex was hiding something huge from him. Whatever he had to say to Alex was clearly of so much importance to him.
