Yang Yinlin moved to a new house and bought a new sofa.
The sofa was made of genuine leather and was red in color. It was exceptionally well-designed with a human touch – two armrests, seat cushions that resembled human thighs. When you sat on it, you immediately felt a warm and embracing sensation.
But one day, she noticed that the sofa didn't seem as comfortable as when she first bought it. The seat cushions weren't as soft, and the color was fading. Moreover, in hot weather, the genuine leather emitted an unpleasant odor.
These issues became increasingly severe. Yang Yinlin, frustrated, contacted the furniture store to request a return or exchange.
The store owner was surprised because this was the first time he had heard such complaints from a customer. Suddenly, he seemed to recall something.
He asked Yang Yinlin, "How did it fade?"
Yang Yinlin handed over the evidence – a red-dyed piece of clothing – and said, "See for yourself."
The store owner rinsed the garment with water and immediately called the police.
The police arrived and questioned Yang Yinlin. They scrutinized her as if trying to see through her soul. Their first question was, "Are you afraid?"
Nervously, Yang Yinlin replied, "I haven't done anything wrong. Why should I be afraid?"
The police took a deep breath, then slowly said to Yang Yinlin, "Based on our analysis, the bloodstains on your clothes match the blood type of a female employee who went missing from the furniture store a month ago. We hope you can cooperate with our investigation..."
