He told White how he glimpsed 'his face and how he went in a trance. White knew about his vision he told her when they were around 18-19. Ajin got really drunk at a college party and he and White sneaked to the rooftop with white holding vodka and changing every once in a while.
He has been having these visions since he was a 5-year-old kid. He told his parents but, as they were, fully ignored him by saying that these are stupid things he's making up random dreams. But he saw the same two people, sometimes holding hands and sometimes running by the shore of the beach.
The main vision was of those beautiful chocolate brown eyes and those perfect heart-shaped lips. In some of his visions, he used to see a guy holding a guitar, playing football, and sometimes a brown shirt often seen. They are all the same person; he knows it, in the back of his mind, but he has never in his 25 years seen his face. It's like a blurred-up version of some fucked up shit and it annoys the hell out of him.
When he told White about this, the pink-cheeked drunk girl was convinced that it was Ajin's past life and he was bound by a red ribbon after his death to this mystery person, so their love will last another lifetime. And if this is so, it annoys him even more why is he suffering because his past self was madly in love?
He didn't tell White about the visions, which are more like nightmares. These visions are of a car ride and there is so much light at some points and then total pitch darkness at others. He sees a blurred image of some guy screaming 'TINE, TINE' very loudly, and he worries about the vocal cords of the person.
The person who screams it sounds like the most hurt person in this whole wide world. His scream is so desperate that Ajin wants to just go and hug him. He remembers in the vision the person holding-shaking-desperately asking him to wake up but all he can do is lie there with no control over himself.
Some days he'd wake up covered in sweat and other days his face would be hot with tears. He had been dying of curiosity about his visions. So he searched for jobs related to this and one day a strange call came to him.
"Hello Khrup," he answered, an old man replied, "I heard you are looking for a job".
"Yes, but how did you find my number? I want a job in a specific field," Ajin said.
"Don't worry about that, you are quite perfect for what we are looking for"
"I don't understand," Ajin asked, perplexed
"Why don't we meet for tea, Mr. Ajin"
"On Saturday at 'Gorya's Cafe' at noon." The old man hung up.
The last sentence was more of an order, a command. He had a feeling that he had already been hired and was going to the cafe just to sign some 'terms and conditions'.
It was strange how that old man knew Ajin wanted a job because Ajin didn't even give his number to any job application. He was just searching on the internet without giving any personal information. Ajin kept thinking this all night long and didn't get much sleep.
