Chereads / She Who Became A Bad Girl / Chapter 3 - Chapter 2

Chapter 3 - Chapter 2

I'm expecting some bush of plants at the side of the gate. I used to see many cars and a school bus in lined outside, but I'm seeing the opposite scenario I've never imagined. The students my age, are walking while laughing and talking with their companions. They seemed very happy and full of energy.

While me, I faced Dad annoyingly.

"Dad, what kind of shit is this? Are you really gonna let me study in this place? I don't want here! This is cheap! I won't feel fun here!" I said hysterically.

He put down his specs and gave me a normal look, like he's not even bother to my rants."Don't give me tantrums. This is your punishment for being a difficult kid. You shall study here, whether you like it or not." He said to me.

My brows furrowed. He's punishing me?! What for?! How could he possibly do this to me?!

"That's it! I won't study more! Don't expect me to change because I won't and I will never be! I'll do whatever I wanna do and no one can stop me, not even you!" I shouted straight to his face before I marched harshly.

My chest was aching in so much anger. My breath became heavier and heavier while I'm walking without any emotion on my face. He never failed to make my life miserable, I guess that's already his hobby. If mom were just still alive...

Sometimes I wish, he should be the one who died, not her.

I feel like I'm in a different space of world. I'm not used to walk in a soil and most especially, in a mud! Totally annoyed, I looked down on my shoes and saw a drop of mud that made my newest shoes look ugly and old now. My lips formed grimly.

"Hey, miss. I think you're blocking our way to---"

To my built up annoyance, I immediately cut the boy who spoke at my back."Shut the fuck up! Go and fly your ass!" I hissed.

I almost throw them my shoes if they chose to stay. I took some tissues from my bagpack and wiped the stain on my black shoes. After that, I threw the tissue elsewhere and continued my walk like nothing happened.

I don't know on earth why all of them are looking at me like I'm some kind of alien or unknown specie who just landed in front of them. Why they're like that? Have they seen a pretty gray haired girl just by now?

"Hi! You're new here?" A girl in pigtail with visible contact lenses and colorful braces, appeared and asked.

My brow arched."Obviously? I'm looking for my room. It said here, it's located at the back of music hall. Where's that?" I asked rightaway.

She looked at the paper I'm holding then, her smile widened and eyes sparkled.

"Omg! We are classmates! I see, you're the transferee our professor talking about yesterday!" She started to giggle and my forehead creased when she held my hand."Come with me! I'll guide you to our classroom!" I couldn't argue more when she forcefully grabbed me.

Honestly? I want to push and kick her out of my sight for grabbing me like we're close friends. Can't she notice that I'm not happy as her? Can't she see how crumpled my face was? The nerve of this girl.

"Wait," I said but she didn't hear it so I needed to raise my voice,"Fucking wait!" There, she stopped and faced me. I crossed my arms."I'm just asking you where is my room. I didn't tell you to grab me here. You're acting like we're close friends and to tell you this, even if we're classmates, you shouldn't done that. Did you hear any permission from me? Nothing, right?" I said in sarcasm.

Her light face earlier fell. She slowly nodded, her smile profusely faded.

"Y-yeah. I'm sorry. I-I just like your style and I want you to be my friend.."

My eyes narrowed. I want to laugh. What? She want me to be her friend? Is she high?

"Friends, huh. The feeling is not mutual." I watched how she pout her lips.

I left her there and went inside our room. So, this is my new atmosphere. An all-white painted wall, plastic chairs?! I feel suffocated. My shoulder fell and I can't recognize what's my expression upon seeing the whole place. There's only one thing I can say.

Disaster.

This is a disaster for me. So this is your punishment, Dad. What a great job you did.

I picked my chair and sat there recklessly, not minding the stares of my so-called new classmates. I shouldn't bother myself too much. I'm sure this will be temporary. I'm gonna expel and kick out in this school again, like the usual. I'll prove to Dad that he can't do anything, he can't stop me being difficult to him and to others.

"Where's the transferee? Kindly introduce yourself here in front." The professor entered and he didn't even greeted us 'good morning'.

All of them, looked at me. I rolled my eyes and stood up lazily. The struggles of being a damn transferee.

"Vanez Amelia Arnaez. I don't actually want to be friend with y'all so better be fuck off. That's all." I sat back on my armchair.

It took seconds before they processed everything. Especially our professor, he blinked twice and cleared his throat.

"Cussing is not allowed here, Ms. Arnaez." He warned me.

"Sorry not sorry." I gave him a sarcastic smile.

I heard their gasps. The girl earlier who grabbed me is sitting beside me, I felt her stares though I didn't give her my attention. I took my earphones and bubble gum. I put it on my ears and listened some rock songs. I chewed the bubble gum then blowed it from time to time.

The bell finally rang, I took out the tasteless bubble gum and pasted it under my table.

But to my surprise, our professor doesn't leaving yet. What the? Don't he have a watch? To my irritation, I took out my earphones and searched for my mini clock inside my bag. I set an alarm at the exact time now. It rang loudly.

"Therefore, mitosis produces----" he paused and all the corner of the room filled with silence.

"Sir, you're abusing our time. It's lunch time already. You may now leave." I gestured my hands, his mouth parted.

"Damn, girl. Isn't she's awesome?" Someone whistled.

Our professor had no choice but to put down his marker and took his whiteboard. He shook his head in dismay before he walked out the room. I smirked and held my bag. I walked out too, I let them thank me for giving them a favor. What favor? I don't remember I'm giving someone a favor. I didn't do it for them, I do it for myself only. Some are bashing me for disrespecting the prof, they're saying they still want to listen to his discussion.

How fuck up they can be? Boring people shouldn't mind.

"Vanez, wait!" Someone called.

I paused from walking to look back. I frowned when I saw the pigtail girl. She ran towards my direction. Is she chasing me? She breathed in and out when she got near. I needed to wait 'til she got the urge to speak up again.

"What?" I asked, lazily.

"You still don't know where the cafeteria is, aren't you?"

My brows immediately furrowed."So? I'll find it, then." I shrugged.

She pouted."I can accompany you there, you know.." why she seems persistent anyway?

"What's wrong with you? Ugh, whatever. Do what you want, I don't care. Just don't you dare meddle with my business or else I'm gonna be your biggest nightmare."

Fine then, as if I care for her. She seemed happy about it, she walked first and true enough, she guided me to cafeteria. She also told me her name and it's Rocelia. She became energetic again and I'm a little bit annoyed. I'm starting to regret why I let her be with me.

"They're selling so many sweets here but if you want salty foods, you can try their baked potato fries! Or if you like spicy foods, they have ramen and chicken legs for options!" She exclaimed giggly.

I was about to make my response when a body bumped in me. I almost step back. Rocelia held my arm, I looked at the whodunit. It's a boy holding books.

"S-sorry.." he apologized.

I shushed harshly and removed Rocelia's hands on me."I don't accept sorrys," I gritted and stamped him when he's about to step.

"Vanez! That's enough!" Rocelia panicked.

All the students in the cafe are now watching us. When a pair of shoes came in front. From the boy who's crawling to pick his books, I lifted up my gaze to someone who just arrived.

"What's happening here? What did you do?" A calm voice of a tall guy wearing specs, brought the atmosphere into silence.

He looked down at the boy then to me.
