"Remember, the spirit will choose you if you are willing to let it flow unto you," Benjamin uttered sternly.
Ben opened his grimoire, chanting a spell as he extends his hand forward, opening his palm and focused his mana onto the spirit to receive its blessings.
The spirit glowed and let out it's mana. Ben felt warm as the spirit's aura surrounds him. "Dad, I did it!" Ben uttered as the aura wore off
"You've done well, Son," Benjamin said, putting his palm on Ben's head.
"I didn't expect the spirit to choose me," Young Ben uttered, closing his grimoire.
"The spirit of the sun has made a contract to be with you," Benjamin said, smiling.
"Dad, where so spirits come from?" Ben said curiously.
"It came from god," Benjamin replied. "Our god gifted us spirits in order for us to protect his creations from evil, which includes you and me, and the world."
"Really?" Ben said eagerly, "It must be an honour to receive blessings!"
"Indeed, but I would need to warn you." Benjamin said seriously. "There are magicians who worship devils and its evil spirits, this bad guys intend to corrupt the world with darkness."
"I hope I can be as strong as you so that I can fight bad guys!" Young Ben uttered passionately.
"That's the spirit, keep your passions burning," Benjamin uttered merrily. "We can travel the world, and train you as we explore the path of the birds of passage, however I will need to protect our nation from King Czar VII's rage."
"I can wait," Ben said. "There's no need to worry, I had faith in you, dad."
"Keep your faith up," Benjamin uttered, patting Ben's shoulders. "I promise that we'll travel the world."
"I'll sure do, dad," Ben said gleefully, hugging his father.
