Adira chased after them. She ran as fast as her legs could carry while Ethan called her.
"Adira!"
Ethan called out.
Adira's heart was now beating so fast with exertion, and her lungs begged for oxygen.
She was panicking so hard as she chased after them.
"Tell them to stop!"
She cried. She turned to face Ethan, but he looked so uninterested.
It didn't seem like he was interested in stopping Julie's carriage.
"Can you please tell them to stop?"
Adira pleaded.
She was almost in tears. She could hear Williams call her name, and now was sure he was the one in the cage.
A lot of thoughts crowded her mind. It was as if she was dreaming, as she wondered how it was possible that Williams was the one in the cage.
"Stop the carriage!"
Ethan commanded.
The wheel stopped abruptly. This had given Adira a grasp of hope, and shortly, she caught up with the carriage.
Ethan ran towards them as well.
