It was a birthday party and tables were already set to perfection. The guests were all seated, waiting for the great Xavier to come before they would enjoy the party while the rest danced to the sweet melodies of the music.
Adira was in their midst. She had sat together with Alpha Ethan and other dignitaries in the Cardias pack.
Kara walk in slowly.
She could barely walk faster. She looked pale like someone who had just survived a zombie attack.
When she got to the table, she chuckled.
She would have loved to laugh out so hardly, but she was in the midst of people and wouldn't want to embarrass herself.
"Oh! Kara is here."
Ethan said and got up from his seat immediately, pretending he was happy to see her.
He went to assist her, but his feet stopped immediately she raised her hands signifying he stopped getting closer.
Ethan noticed she looked so pale. This made him feel some sort of concern for her.
