Adira had fallen into a deep sleep and for the past twelve hours, she lay motionless on the hospital bed, and her eyes were perfectly shut.
She had lost a significant amount of weight and the only thing that showed she was still alive was the beeping sounds of the monitor.
Nurse Elly, the nurse in charge of taking care of her, had tapped her countless times, but she wouldn't wake up. Her level of consciousness has gone down drastically and everyone worried she might be gone from there.
Elly walked closer to Adira's bedside. She had a pulse oximeter in her hands. Shortly, she clamped it on her right thumb and was waiting to read her pulse rate. After she took note of the pulse, she wrote it down on her chat and was about to leave the room when Adira began to vibrate violently.
