The great Xavier paused for a while. It seemed he was trying to connect some dots together. Later, he cleared his throat. He picked up the fork on the plate, and placed another cucumber slice into his mouth. He then proceeded to speak again.
"Were they the only people you told about it?"
He asked. His gaze focused on the plate of cucumbers, as if they were all that mattered.
Ethan could read the nonchalance in his father's countenance, but he didn't want it to distract him from what he had come for. His father would easily hand the pack over to his younger brother Andrea, if he allowed it, and he had vowed to never let that happen.
"Yes father. Just the two of them."
Alpha Ethan replied.
"Well your investigation should be between the two of them."
He cleared his throat and closed his eyes, about to go back to his meditation.
"If you will excuse me Ethan."
"But Father!"
