Then, she clung to him like an octopus wrapping around his sturdy waist, saying lazily, "Wow, I really want to take a nap. After a whole day of busyness, I feel like my bones are about to fall apart."
Suddenly, she asked curiously, "Hey, Doudou, where are you going?"
There was Doudou, picking up a rag doll, jumping down from the couch, barefoot, and wobbling towards the door.
At the doorway, hearing her mother's call, she turned her head and made a funny face, "I don't want to be the third wheel, okay? I see Mom and Dad being all lovey-dovey, and who knows, they might start planning on making babies next."
"For the sake of my future little brother or sister, I've decided not to disturb you."
She opened the door, then suddenly turned around and stuck out her tongue.
With a bang, she closed the door.
The two adults on the sofa looked at each other, at a loss for words.
They both broke into laughter at the same time.
