Ma Lin was fairly satisfied with his situation now. However, there were still some troublesome issues in society that needed to be resolved.
First, everyone still viewed Aike with fear and did not want their alliance to be discovered by him.
The general sentiment was to hope for another twenty years or so of development time; then they would no longer fear Aike. With magic technology, they were confident they could drive him away.
Another issue was that many inhabitants of the Flame Kingdom and Egg Kingdom were demonic creatures who were inherently drawn to darkness and evil. Modern society failed to reform them; they harbored anger and hatred toward society every day, and they sought to cause destruction. Some were even fleeing these two countries.
They might walk westward and inform other forces about the situation here, eventually bringing the news to Aike's ears.
To solve such problems, what was needed first was patience, and not to expect an immediate resolution.
